We are back with a new opportunity in the food sector in Romania.


We are now actively searching for a Key Account Manager – Modern Trade for one of the world’s biggest food companies. The 70 years of history and tradition made this company one of the most appreciated brands by consumers in the home country.


Our beneficiary is part of one of the most important investment groups in the world, deeply engaged in Social Responsibility, as much for the consumers, providing them on a daily basis qualitative products adapted the most sophisticated tastes, and on behalf of the employees.



Main Responsibilities for this position are:

  • Deep understanding of complex retail/ FMCG commercial policies;
  • Developing and maintaining strategic customer relationships with key decision-makers;
  • Leading contract and sales negotiations with International Key Accounts;
  • Assistance in the development of accurate sales forecasts;
  • Full ownership of the entire sales cycle: listing management, sales price lists, promotional plans, day-to-day activities, marketing plans and execution;
  • Full ownership of the customer P&L and managing different variables effectively to improve the Gross-to-Net result at designated customers;
  • Surveying the market areas to detect business trends and opportunities for new products.


The synthetic profile of the suitable candidate for this position:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience from working with retailers, buyers, and key decision makers;
  • University graduate: Bachelor + Master;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize opportunities from different business plans;
  • High attention to details and taste for tactical commercial negotiations based on data analysis and one-to-one advantages exchanges;
  • Fluent English both spoken and written, French would be a plus;
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office suite);
  • Driving license B;
  • Located in Bucharest area where the Romanian subsidiary is.
