
Finance Executive @ Multinational Seed Company
Agxecutive is actively looking for an exceptionally qualified Financial Executive to join our partner, a multinational seeds company with a global presence. We are in search of a candidate who showcases remarkable collaboration skills, a strong understanding of finance, exceptional business intuition, and the ability to handle various financial aspects, including day-to-day details. The perfect candidate will have the responsibility of effectively collaborating with all stakeholders and successfully achieving the finance objectives set by the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial statements for different categories such as crop-wise, region-wise, and country-wise to ensure the organization has accurate and up-to-date financial information for decision-making purposes;
- Prepare essential financial reports and analysis, ensuring the integrity of financial results and timely reporting. Escalate any issues and develop action plans for the appropriate crop teams when necessary;
- Provide high-quality financial management information to senior managers, keeping them informed about key financial and commercial aspects of the business;
- Coordinate transactions, such as purchases, sales, and banking activities, with the Dutch accountant;
- Prepare cash flow statements to project and manage the organization’s cash position;
- Maintain control and oversight of all financial transactions within the company;
- Support the audit process, providing necessary documentation and assistance;
- Gather and organize information and prepare materials for S&OP meetings;
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and perform business analysis;
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and LRP;
- Reconcile monthly inventory with the Supply Chain team;
- Manage credit control and credit insurance matters;
- Ensure the timely and accurate closing of books in SAP;
- Assist the Finance Manager with all compliance-related tasks;
- Follow up with the commercial team regarding collections.
Requirements:
- A qualified finance professional with 5-7 years of relevant experience;
- Extensive knowledge of local financial compliance regulations is essential, along with a solid understanding of basic accounting concepts;
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in SAP or a similar ERP system, specifically in the FICO and Material Management modules, is required (4-5 years of experience);
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage receivables and collections;
- Familiarity with credit insurance knowledge and processes is considered an additional advantage;
- The candidate must be local and fluent in both Romanian and English.
