Your focus will be on accounting in accordance with Romanian legislation and tax regulations.

Main Responsibilities:
• Participate in daily activity, booking daily/ monthly accounting transactions;
• Participate in safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of the accounting bookings based on the Romanian GAAP.
• Participate in month end accounts review and reconciliation process;
• Participate in the month-end closing process and overseeing the timely and accurate submission of tax returns.
• Providing expert support during authority audits, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Provide support during internal and external audits;
• Participate in direct communication with Group accounting team;
• Participate in other financial activities/ projects based on business requirements.

Ideal Candidate profile:
• Higher education in economics / accounting;
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role in accounting;
• Advanced Excel skills;
• Advanced English skills;
• Advanced ERP skills; knowledge of SAGE is an advantage.
